Commemorating St Mary of the Cross MacKillop's visit to Cooranbong

The parish MacKillop Team were busy during 2014 visioning a celebration to commemorate the actual date that Australia's First Saint, MARY MACKILLOP, attended mass in the then timber building that served as a church on Sundays and as a Non-vested National School on weekdays.
An invitation was extended to all parishioners, as well as distinguished guests, to attend St Patrick's and St Brigid's Church, Cooranbong on Tuesday 19th May 2015.

A wonderful celebration was held with Mass at 9.30am, followed by a dedication of three plaques, then morning tea back in the Callinan Centre at Morisset.
